About this Variety
This Paperwhite kit comes with everything you need to grow these fragrant bulbs: three bulbs, a 5" x 5.25" trendy white plastic conical decorative outer planter, planting medium, and a set of growing instructions. Growing Instructions
Paperwhites are tender bulbs and need to be planted in pots indoors throughout most of North America. To grow indoors as a houseplant, expand the soil block included with the kit according to the directions, then fill about half the pot with the planting medium. Set the bulbs on top of the soil, filling in around them to hold them in place. Leave the top third of each bulb exposed above the soil level and allow room in the pot for watering. Paperwhite bulbs prefer normal room temperatures, and exposure to bright light helps keep the stems shorter. As the flower stalks grow toward the light, rotate the pot frequently to prevent toppling. Sit back and enjoy!
Care Tip
Paperwhites root best at cooler temperatures below 60°F. Once rooted, a somewhat warmer household temperature is preferred, but avoid conditions that are too hot or too dry, as they may hinder flowering. Lower light levels can also cause taller, leggier growth.
