When you plant it they will come and when you understand what sustains backyard wildlife, you can work to provide shelter, food and water. The plants in this collection are wildlife magnets. Pollinators are a vital part of life on earth as they pollinate most flowering plants. They do this by transferring pollen from bloom to bloom. Pollinators, however, have been in decline due to habitat loss and disease. It is surprisingly easy and lots of fun to attract pollinators to your garden for some spectacular entertainment. Please do your part and help sustain the pollinator populations.

Growing Instructions
Plant in the spring after all danger of frost has passed. Plant in a full sun to partially shaded location. This collection loves soil that is rich, porous and drains well but still holds enough water for the roots. If your soil is heavy clay and drains slowly, or very sandy and does not hold water, add organic soil amendments like peat moss or ground bark. Spread a 3-4 inch layer of soil amendment if needed, add fertilizer and incorporate into the soil to a depth of 10 inches. Plant in groups with plants spaced 12-24" apart for the best show. Plants should be planted 0.5-2" deep. Water thoroughly at planting. Water as regularly while growing and blooming. Mulch to keep the soil cool and to prevent the soil from drying out. Apply fertilizer before and after flowering.
Care Tip
Newly planted bulbs and roots need extra moisture during their first year in the garden to ensure they form a solid root system.
