Care Tip

Garlic performs best when planted in light, sandy soil that has been amended with compost or manure. Long days and warm temperatures help in bulb development. Garlic can be kept for 3-6 months if properly dried and stored. Place the bulbs in a well ventilated bag or open container and store in a cool, dry location with little humidity.
