Oxalis is typically grown as a house plant but does like to be grown outdoors in light shade. Oxalis is a great choice for low borders and patio containers. Produces shamrock-shaped foliage ranging in color from deep burgundy to bright green with dainty flowers.
About this Variety
Our Oxalis kit comes with everything you need to grow this exotic plant: 6 oxalis bulbs, a 5x7" antiqued-copper-like, metal planter, a 5" nursery pot, planting medium and growing instructions. Bulbs are essentially storage mechanisms and already contain everything needed to produce flowers. All you will need to do is water.

Growing Instructions
Indoor Planting: Expand the soil disc, following the directions. Fill the nursery pot with 4/5 of the medium. Distribute the bulbs evenly on top of soil and cover with the remaining soil. Water well. Maintain moisture by not letting the pot dry out. After Care: After a period of active growth, the plant should be allowed to rest or go dormant. The first sign that a plant is entering dormancy is leaf die-back. If this begins to occur, stop watering and fertilizing the plant. Leaves can then be cut back or allowed to die-back on their own. The plant should be moved to a cool, dark place for one to three months, after which new foliage will start emerging from the soil. When this occurs, move the plant to a full sun location and restart the process all over again by watering and fertilizing.
